I know this is so

I know of a comforter

I know of a comforter, One who will care
a bearer of burdens - who's able to share
the sorrows and woes of a lonely life
of emptiness, worry, fear and strife

'And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive ........
                                                                                                                       John ch. 14 vs. 16,17

I know of a healer, One who will send
a blessing of power - your life to mend
with greater authority than mere man
not only a king, but 'a King who can'

'But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings ......
                                                                                                                      Malachi ch. 4 v.2

I know of a Saviour, One who will bless
everyone who believes with tenderness
to replace darkest night with light of day
a Saviour who turns not one soul away

'Who is it that overcomes the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God ......
                                                                                                                             1 John ch.5 v.5

I know of a warrior, fearless and calm
under His protection you'll come to no harm
and the reason I know that these things are so?
He came into my life a long time ago

'Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse!  He who sat upon it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.'                                                                                                            Revelation ch.19 v.11

Hello 'anonymous', your comment is only comming up in my emails not on this blog for some reason. I thought I would put a comment about it here in case you thought I was blocking comments. I have had comments from 'anonymous' before ( I don't know if those have been from you ), and they only seem to come up in my emails.

Hi Brenda,
Nice blog! I love how you wrote short poems to go with the Bible verses; very creative.

Blessings sister,

Hi child of God, all the content of this blog are from leaflets that I evangelize with in the streets. My friend and I have been doing it for about twenty five years now, she has her leaflets with poems she has written in them together with scripture. There is a long story attatched to it but we felt completely led by the Lord to start this, and love the response to the Lord by the people that we see.

Hi Brenda,

I came across your blog, and am glad I stopped by! Your writing is lovely and a sweet blessing.

How blessed we are by our Savior; one we can turn to in comfort, pain, and joy!

Hello Denise,

nice to meet you. Yes there is no one like Him, and His riches are far superior to all earthly riches.

God bless you

Hello 'anonymous',

I have sent a reply to your email, which is coming up as being a comment still, but I am not sure if the reply goes to you as it is listed as 'no reply'. If you do not want me to put these comments in answer to your email let me know, but I will put my reply to you hear just in case it does not reach you on email:-

once again your comment is not showing up as a comment on my blog, but maybe that is how you want it. I believe that if you share what is happening in your life with God through Jesus, and then share your testimony with others, then that is fulfilling the scripture from Revelation. 'and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony'.

God bless you in your walk with Him too.

I am glad that you do,so do I, and I would want that the whole world would come to know this truth.

Hi Brenda, As Child of God wrote...I love how your poem is woven into scripture!

It sounds like you have been serving God on the streets for a long time...I'm glad you've begun doing it on-line too!

Brenda said...

Hi Jephyr,
I love everything about evangelizing and sharing experiences with one another. Yes, my friend and I have met some beautiful people on the streets over the past twenty five years. I used to take my guitar and we used to sing songs as well, but since I have moved forty miles from my friend we meet up together every two weeks in a coastal town, but have not taken my guitar there, just the leaflets.

After I originally left a comment I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments
are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I receive 4 emails with the exact same comment.
There has to be a means you can remove me from that service?

Many thanks!

Hi Anonymous,
I am sorry that this is happening to you, I don't know what the problem is. Most comments that are 'anonymous' don't seem to come on my blog, for some reason they come into spam. A lot of them are jumble though. I do not know much about how to solve this problem. The only thing I can suggest is that you un tick the box that you have ticked or google the question to the blog forum. They will have the answer for you.
