Which world ?

'And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.'
John ch.17 v.3

Your world ?

There's this world you might live in - I've lived in it too
full of selfishness, greed and lust
It was formed out of darkness, confusion and fear
by a man that was made from its dust

If you live in  this world - this chaotic abyss
then we'll always be worlds apart
not because we're so different in bodily form
but for what you desire in your heart

My world

Let me live in a world where El Shaddai rules
where the righteous are plenty and there are no fools
Let me live in a world where no darkness can reign
where there's laughter and joy and there is no pain

Live with me in this world where my Jesus is Lord
where there's treasure that rich men can never afford
If you too want this world I can show you the door
He's called Jesus ....the Saviour of this world's poor

'even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction;'  Romans ch.3 v.22

'The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God."'  Psalm ch.14 v1

'But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from law, although the law and the prophets bear witness to it,  the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe.  For there is no distinction; since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; they are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus.whom God put forward as an expiation by His blood, to be received by faith.  This was to show God's righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over former sins; it was to prove at the present time that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies him who has faith in Jesus.'

Romans ch.3 v21 - 26

Hi Brenda,

Congrats on the start of this blog! I'll look forward to seeing it grow.

Hi Jephyr,
thankyou so much for your kind comment. I just looked on my emails and saw your comment. I forgot that comments come through on my email. I sent a reply thinking it would go back to your emails, I don't know if it did, and not even thinking that of course you know I have the other blog. I should have looked on this blog first. Sometimes I can be a right lemon.

Hi JBR,
thankyou for your kind comment. I hope to put poetry and scripture that I take out into the street on this blog. There is such an oppotunity for telling others about Jesus on the internet, those who do not know how wonderful a Saviour He is.
God bless you

Hello Chelle, or 'Prynhawn da'(good afternoon) as we say here in Wales.
Thankyou for your kind comment. Have been out for most of the day today, seem to have been busy most of the week, feel like spending a bit of time reading new posts on people's blogs now.
You have a good day too.

You've got a real talent! You appear as one that spends deep meditative time looking inward and less time looking outward. And why not? What's to see out here that can ever top what we see in Christ in us?

Hi Kelline,
that's exactly what I feel too. What I see out there is sometimes a lot of sadness and loneliness, and I want people to know that there is a real Saviour who can be there with you whatever you are going through. I think that when you've experiened His presence in trials then you are able to say 'Yes He is real'. I know you know this too, I can see it in your writings. By the way it's lovely to see you have your picture coming up again. Has that problem been solved ?
God bless you Kelline

Hi Sateigdra,
I have prayed about putting this content in a blog for those who do not know Jesus as Lord. The poetry and scripture is contained in a leaflet that I take out into the streets with a friend who does the same with poetry that she has written, along with scripture. We believe absolutely that the Lord instructed us to do this years ago through two scriptures given to us. Several things happened recently which I believe showed to me that I was to put these poems and scripture on this blog. So I pray that they might be used to the Glory of God in helping to plant seeds of faith in any unbeliever's heart, or water other seeds that have already been planted, that they might eventually come to know of salvation through Jesus and be reconciled back to God.
