What's happening to humanity?
The world has lost it's sanity,
now everything is vanity.
GOD HELP US ALL!
There is no peace in this world for it is full of strife
and it is death - that which you call life
there is no peace on this Earth .... can't you see
the only peace on this Earth is the peace you will find in me
Open up your heart for I am knocking at its door
open up your heart my child and you will see evil no more
'Behold I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me.'
Rev. ch.5 v.20
Harvest time
...... Men's hearts failing them for fear, and looking after those things which are coming on the Earth: Luke ch.21 v.26
Oh gentle giant, spinning orb
what lies ahead for thee
what madness of man's intellect
is forming ...... soon to be
Is blindness now the quality
one has to have to rule
and has responsibility
passed over to the fool
Oh globe of beauty, work of God
what happened ..... what went wrong?
what caused the soil to putrefy
what stilled the blackbird's song?
Somewhere there lies a sickness
a deadly, seething sore
that's spreading over all the Earth
destroying ...... more and more
Oh treasure in darkness
what is sown you now reap
as your pine beard is shaved from your face
In repentance and sorrow
will your rivers weep
as you hurl to your fate in disgrace
'And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed'. 2 Peter ch.3 v.7
Royal Wedding
There's a Royal wedding approaching
and I'm getting very excited
the guest list is never ending
for the whole of mankind is invited
With this marriage you'll share an inheritance
not of silver and gold from this Earth
It's God's wisdom and knowledge and peace of mind
you'll inherit along with new birth
God has things in store unimaginable
of which you will never have heard
when you drink of His Holy Spirit
as you're washed by His pure Holy Word
So take up this invitation
Be God's guest at His Son's wedding feast
and you'll share in the Father's promise
of a future where death will have ceased
'Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying 'The Kingdom of Heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.....' Matt. ch.22 v.1-3
Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.' So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests. Matt. ch.22 vs. 8-10
GOD IS CALLING
God is calling, God is calling, God is calling everyone
to the wedding, to the wedding, to the wedding of His Son
you're all invited to the feast to be God's honoured guest
yes God is calling everyone into His holy rest
The Lord's returning, He's returning, coming in His Father's power
no one knows when He's arriving, it could be this very hour
He's coming for His church on Earth, He's coming for His bride
the door is closing to the world - make sure that you're inside
God is saying, God is saying, God is saying to everyone
'Come into my place of safety - purchased by my precious Son
Come drink my wine of holiness, come eat my bread of grace
The Spirit and the bride say come.... step in and take your place
Then the angel said to me 'Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb', and he added 'These are the true words of God'.
Revelation ch.19 v.9

True. Peace can only be found in God.
Hi Joy, that is right and God wants the whole world to have that peace doesn't He .
Hi Brenda! Yes...wonderful words and wisdom!
I have thought much about the time we are living in and believe that Jesus may return soon. But there is so much deception and confusion (perhaps the "strong delusion" that God said he would allow to come into the world).
Thank you creating this oasis where you share scripture and your poems with God's truth boldly but gently sown into them!
Hi Jephyr,
thankyou for what you say, I have tried to put these posts up as gently as possible but I believe the message of salvation is so important and I believe that God gives abilities for His purpose because of His love for His creation. I am putting together a post on 'lighthousevision' about things that have happened this week concerning dreams and other things and I'd like to mention your dreams on your blog if that is alright with you because it fits in perfectly with what I believe the Lord is pointing out to me about 'rescue'. I will put the site address of your blog in reference if that is alright.
Hi Brenda,
I replied over on my blog too...but as you did over my way...I wanted to make sure you saw it here as well! : )
I'd be happy to have you refer to or link etc to my dream post or my blog.
I'll look forward to reading your "rescue" entry when you have it posted! : )
Hi Brenda, If you just want to mention my blog...that is perfectly fine.
I may try to put together a tutorial on creating a link and if I do I'll share it with you.
Hope you're having a wonderful day!
:)
This post is so wonderful. I always love reading your poems, they're perfect. Especially that last one. I pray I'm on the list of guests I pray i remain on that list I hope you are too. May God continue to bless you sister Brenda :-)
Hi Sateigdra,
I join you in that prayer too, especially the bit about 'remaining' on that list. I don't believe that I can take my salvation lightly, and am always aware that the devil says 'Yes you can' when the Spirit says 'No you can't', as I continue in the race. God bless you my sister.
Magnificent post, Brenda! I remember when I was a child we have a framed picture of Jesus knocking on the door. I asked my mom why, and she explained it to me... The door has no knob on the outside it is only from the inside that the door can be opened. Jesus is knocking in our hearts and it is up to us if we will let Him in. My parents never failed to teach me about being a good Christian. And I feel really blessed because of them.. like how you are a blessing to each one that visits your blog as you share God's word and your reflections. Thank you :)
Hi Lea,
thankyou for your kind comment.Yes, that is a beautiful fact about Jesus knocking on the door, and who could fail to open the door when we share the gospel of how beautiful He is. I thought I had much before I became born again of God's Holy Spirit through belief in Jesus, but I had nothing compared to what I have now. Although I was not born again until I was thirty five, I always believed in God and thought Jesus must have been a lovely person. Now He is no longer in the past, He is present, in my life, and I cannot imagine life without Him. I know there is no life without Him. I too had lovely parents, unfortunately my father died when I was eleven but I still hear his words to myself and my siblings if we wanted him to settle an arguement. They were 'Let's see what the Lord says'.
God bless you Lea.
Thank you for your wonderful blog.
Hello Jedidja,
Lovely to meet you and thankyou for your encouragement. All credit for anything that speaks about our lovely Lord goes to Him.
